Frequently asked questions about MTCCNF
-
What type of bike do you need? Beach cruiser, hybrid, mountain bike, road bike, e-bike, trike —- you can be a part of the club no matter which type you have. You will only have to choose which posted rides are suitable for the bike style you have. Feel free to ask questions.
-
It all begins with an idea. If you have a route that you wish to share, we want to hear it. We only ask that you provide the “Ride With GPS” or “Strava” or “Garmin” map so that we can add it to the route. All you have to do is post your ride to the page. There will most likely be someone who wants to join you.

We are an official 501(c)(3) organization and as such, all donations are tax deductible. Donations are always accepted. We have PayPal, CashApp and Stripe. Checks are always accepted.

As an insurance requirement, we must get certain information prior to each ride that must be kept as a part of the official records. It is the responsibility of the ride leader to ensure that everyone participating in the ride has signed the forms. In addition, the ride leader gives pre-ride safety instructions. The ride leader need not be at the front of the group, but is responsible for maintaining emergency contact information for all who are on the ride.
-
Absolutely ! Just let any of the leadership team know that you are interested and the necessary training will be provided

The answer is yes, however, we encourage individuals, once they are familiar with us, to consider becoming an official member of the club. One of the standout reasons is supplemental insurance coverage in the event of an incident on a club-sponsored event.
